Bad Joke…Amazon Boxes…” Oh No Not Another Box”!

…We’re drowning in f — ken boxes.

I live in a monster-sized apartment building, in the same rental flat, since 1976. (You read right)!

Sooo I’m well qualified to comment on this subject. 😛

We always had a thin, tall bookcase, in the Dry Cleaners Shop, to hold excess mail and packages …until we the tenant picked- it up.

Fast forward to today, when our landlord has evicted the Dry Cleaner Shop, added 4 former shop spaces to devote as “THE PACKAGE SERVICE STATION” … with 3 full-time attendants. Even a waiting window with a constant tenant receiving line. (Like a movie theatre ticket purchasing booth).

Amazon delivery boxes are devouring us, so the way my zany mind works…it reminds me of a terrible, old joke.

HERE GOES…

A mother gives birth to a head…only!

Its parents love their child, “the head” passionately!

He, it, is a brilliant student, who makes his parents very, very proud of him.

When he, it, graduates' college “at the head of its class”, (excuse the pun), his family has a dinner party in his honor.

Its, his, father makes toast, “Son when you were born…I was disappointed, I must admit, but you’ve made your mother & I so proud of you, that we bought you this present”.

The head screams, “OH NO NOT ANOTHER HAT”!!!🙄🙄🙄

I conclude, “OH NO NOT ANOTHER BOX”! 🙄🙄🙄
