I too, have a Gecko story from a few yrs. ago.

My visiting grandson left me his creature in my Manhattan apt. It ate only blue worms.

Don't ask how I couldn't stand him, (her), yet I couldn't leave it to hustle out there on the mean streets of NYC.

What a burden!
