I'm probably your "oldest" fan (age wise).

I did the Rock 'n Roll Paramount to see Chuck Berry, etc.(1950's) & I wrote all over his white station wagon, in red lipstick, "I love you"! He came out & almost killed me. (Rightfully so), "Girl, why did ya do that"? I ran into the subway...terrified.

We followed Rock 'n Roll stars, seeing them whenever we could get tickets. Then came "The Mamba Bands, discos, Studio 54, where we were regulars.

My husband was in a band. A Vibes player so we lived & loved music and dancing.

BUT we too had to labor hard, like your dear parents.
