“He Left My Vagina up the Air…”

I rushed to my gynecologist's office… after work for my annual Pap Test.

The normally packed waiting room was sparsely occupied on my 6:00 appointment. After leafing thru a magazine or 2 the nurse called my name then put me one of the many of the rooms.

She cheerfully helped me onto the examining table, inserted my legs into stirrups, then covered them with a crisp white sheet.

“The doctor will be right with you” she said as she left the room.

For the first 5–10 minutes I waited legs open wide feet in in shackles, back flat and with my vagina catching cold.

I was getting impatient as 15 minutes passed but no doctor came in.

So, I called out, “Hello, Hello”.

No answer then I started to scream, “Doctor…Nurse I’m in room C”, over & over again.

No reply. I was locked into position, so I wasn’t able to get off the high table. (In 1990, we had no cell phones). There was wall phone hung across the room…but I couldn’t get to it.

Oh, My Gawd I couldn’t believe my stressful predicament.

I kept yelling but to no avail…panic was gripping me big time!

Then I heard rustling & voices.

The door swung open it was the building cleaning crew.

“Where’s the doctor”? I cried.

“Oh, he and the staff left for the day”!

The doctor left for home without checking on me, his patient…imagine!
