Thank you for wonderful story which reminded me of Fortunoff's, my husband worked there, (as a stock boy after school). 1950's

This was in their original store in Brooklyn.

Many years later, when we lived on LI, we loved Westbury's Branch.

As a grandmother, my older daughter bought me a locket on a chain & filled it with photos of the babies...for one Mothers' Day.

I treasure it...😍
